L’Echo des Min has changed its name of “végétable”. Everything is different, except for the essentiel.
“végétable” examines the sector with openmindedness and independence. végétable is a centre for information, discussion and analyses for better understanding of the present and for developing strategies for the future.
“végétable” addresses all the main issues of the world of fruit and vegetables—from plant material to the table by way of fields, orchards, greenhouses, technical aspects, corporate strategies, combined approaches, packing and packaging, transport and logistics, trade, the economic, social and environmental aspects, retail names and the fruit and vegetables department, the catering business, etc.
It has a dynamic approach with its team of specialised journalists and a network of correspondents in the heart of the major production regions continuously monitoring a business activity keyed into a fast-changing world. It is attentive to the expectations of its readers, its advertisers and, more generally, to the sector and to society, and knows how to adjust its own focus. With 20 years experience, its very existence illustrates this ability to go forwards.
A sector must at all times integrate the forces bearing on its economic, social, political, scientific, technological and ecological environment. A fruit and vegetable trade journal, “végétable” relates these links to each other and puts this economic sector in perspective with regard to the world in which it operates.
